Is it possible to roll back to 1.13 after having upgraded to 1.14?  I wish I would not have updated.  I was in the middle of my first game and while the game AI seems to very weak (subject for another thread) I was at least learning things.

Now since updating I cannot load the saved games, play back anything recorded (mine or otherwise) which makes we wonder why that feature is even there if it is never going to work properly.  In 1.13 some recorded games worked but now nothing.

Anyway, I have updaters remorse.  Anyone know if it is possible via impulse or something roll back?

Thanks

AFAIK the only possibility of returning to an earlier version is if you've made a back-up of sins with that version, since Impulse only has the latest version available. Last standalone patch was 1.05, after that all patches have come through Impulse.

Are you saying you can't load 1.13 savegames in 1.14, or you can't load any savegames/replays, period, even ones made after the patch?

Unlike FPSs and such, a tweak made to a strategy game will almost universally break savegames, regardless of the game or developer.

If you were just playing  your first or second game - start a new one.  You will have to play 4 or 5 games before you really get a handle on all of the stuff.

First of all if you downloaded any update u know that you cannot play the previous versions
